Our practice caters for all common conditions.
At birth, intervertebral discs are full of water and at their healthiest. As people age, discs lose hydration and wear down. As the disc dehydrates (loses water), they no longer have the capability of resisting the forces which act upon them. As a result, the forces and transferred to the walls of the discs which can cause tears to develop. This can consequently increase pain and weakens the integrity of the disc wall.
